Youngman has redesigned the Ecolite with Green House Strategies, incorporating the newest in GHS LED technology. The superior performance of LED lighting results in a massive saving in fuel costs with the new enhanced Ecolite only using 0.7 litres of diesel an hour.

This equates to a saving of up to 65% against conventional light towers. Plus due to this exceptional fuel economy and the reliable Hatz engine, the Ecolite will run for up to 135 hours continuously on one tank of fuel.

The light produced is also a superior quality light with a more even spread of light, also with reduced glare and no flicker which makes it perfect for roadside use where the motorist’s and workforce safety is a prime consideration, mining and event applications LED’s provide instant on off and allow for use in a wider range of temperatures.

Greenhouse Strategies, produces a light fixture that is humidity sealed and incorporates a GE Lexan shield that is guaranteed against yellowing for 10 years, shatter proof and resistant to rocks and other projectiles.

Possibly the most important advance is that LED lights, when designed properly, don’t burn out or need replacing for up to 12 years. This greatly reduces the maintenance and/or downtime of the Ecolite tower. Also of note is that LED’s, upon disposal, pose no hazardous waste issue to the environment.
